Sarah L Glabman Fine Art is committed to making SLG.art welcoming and usable for as many people as possible, including visitors who use assistive technology.
Our Goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines help make websites clearer and easier to use for everyone, including people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive differences.
What We've Built In
- Descriptive alternative text on artwork and meaningful images.
- Semantic, well-structured headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate easily.
- Keyboard-friendly navigation and visible focus for interactive elements.
- Careful attention to color contrast and legible type sizes.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences for visitors who prefer less animation.
Always Improving
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time task. As we add new artwork and features, we test and refine to keep the experience inclusive. Some older content or third-party tools may not yet meet every standard, and we are steadily addressing those.
Ran into a barrier, or found something hard to use? Please tell us. Your feedback directly shapes how we improve.
