/ Care & Handling

Lasting Beauty

Museum-quality materials deserve museum-quality care. Follow these guidelines to preserve your artwork for generations.

✓ Do
  • Display in a climate-controlled room (65-75°F, 40-55% humidity)
  • Use soft, dry microfiber cloth for dusting
  • Hang away from exterior walls prone to moisture
  • Use UV-filtering glass or acrylic if placing near windows
  • Allow at least 2 inches of airflow behind the frame
  • Handle with clean, dry hands or cotton gloves
✕ Don't
  • Place in direct sunlight or near strong UV sources
  • Spray any cleaning product directly on the surface
  • Hang above heat vents, fireplaces, or radiators
  • Store or display in basements or unconditioned garages
  • Use paper towels or abrasive materials to clean
  • Touch the printed or acrylic face with bare fingers
Cleaning acrylic mounts: Use a soft microfiber cloth dampened very lightly with distilled water. Wipe in gentle circular motions. For fingerprints, a small amount of isopropyl alcohol (70%) on a cloth works well. Never spray liquid directly onto the surface.
  1. Archival Lifespan Our prints are produced on archival fine art media using pigment inks rated for 100+ years under normal display conditions - no fading, no color shift.
  2. Acrylic Face Mount The crystal-clear acrylic is scratch-resistant but not scratch-proof. Keep it away from abrasive surfaces and clean with microfiber only.
  3. Float Frames The dark brown float frame is solid hardwood; the black float frame has a lacquered finish. Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid oil-based cleaners.
  4. Long-Term Storage If storing a piece, wrap it in acid-free tissue, place in its original crating or a padded flat box, and store vertically in a climate-controlled space.
