Beneath the Storm
Kenai Fjords, Alaska
From the deck of a boat being tossed through the rough waters of Kenai Fjords, Alaska, I watched this immense glacier emerge beneath a ceiling of dark, brooding clouds.
What captivated me was the contrast. The mountains disappeared into shadow and mist while the glacier seemed almost illuminated from within, its fractured surface glowing in extraordinary shades of blue against the surrounding rock. Below, pieces of ancient ice drifted quietly across the dark water.
There was nothing quiet about the journey to capture it. The sea was relentless, yet through my lens the chaos disappeared. What remained was a moment of extraordinary stillness: ancient ice, rugged Alaskan wilderness, and a storm-darkened sky converging into one dramatic landscape.
Beneath the Storm is a fine art photograph of the glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park, created for collectors drawn to the raw, untamed beauty of Alaska.

Dark Brown Float Frame
A warm, natural wood float frame with rich grain and dark espresso tones. The floating mount brings dimension and an organic elegance to the piece.

Acrylic Mount
The photograph is face-mounted behind optically-clear museum-quality acrylic, creating extraordinary depth, luminosity, and a contemporary floating effect on the wall.
