Held by Ice
Kenai Fjords, Alaska
Along the wild coastline of Kenai Fjords, an immense wall of glacial ice folds itself around an outcrop of black Alaskan rock, creating a striking collision of color, texture and scale.
What captivated me was the contrast. Brilliant blue ice appears almost luminous against the dark granite beneath it, while fragments of the glacier drift quietly across the glassy water below. There is tremendous power in this landscape, yet in this moment, everything felt remarkably still.
Photographed from the water in Kenai Fjords, Alaska, Held by Ice reveals the intricate textures, deep blue tones and sculptural formations of an Alaskan glacier in extraordinary detail. It is a portrait of a landscape shaped by time, where ice, stone and sea meet in one fleeting moment of quiet beauty.

Dark Brown Float Frame
A warm, natural wood float frame with rich grain and dark espresso tones. The floating mount brings dimension and an organic elegance to the piece.
