Bell Rock Before the Storm
Bell Rock · Sedona, Arizona
Sedona has a way of revealing something new each time I visit, and this evening was no exception. I photographed Bell Rock at sunset as an approaching storm moved across the red rock landscape, transforming the sky into a dramatic canvas of shadow, light, and color.
For a brief moment, the setting sun broke through the clouds and illuminated Bell Rock with a warm golden glow while dark storm clouds gathered overhead. The contrast between the fiery sandstone and the incoming weather created a scene that felt both powerful and peaceful - a reminder of the ever-changing beauty that defines Sedona.
This photograph captures the essence of Sedona, Arizona: glowing red rock formations, dramatic storm skies, rich desert textures, and the fleeting magic that occurs when the last light of day meets an approaching desert storm.

Black Float Frame
A sleek, modern black float frame that suspends the print with a subtle reveal around all edges, giving the artwork a gallery-quality depth and presence.

Dark Brown Float Frame
A warm, natural wood float frame with rich grain and dark espresso tones. The floating mount brings dimension and an organic elegance to the piece.

Acrylic Mount
The photograph is face-mounted behind optically-clear TruLife acrylic, creating extraordinary depth, luminosity, and a contemporary floating effect on the wall.
